I have always been drawn to people and their stories.  I love helping others uncover the strengths already present in their stories and more importantly in themselves.

Colleagues describe me as compassionate, humorous, energetic, and having the ability to create space for someone to feel instantly comfortable.  Specializing in preteens, teens, and young adults, I enjoy digging into a collaborative approach to you or your loved one’s care in seeking healing in ways that feel natural to the client.  I enjoy using multiple approaches and bringing not only hands-on skills but also providing a non-judgemental space to process difficulties together.

I have a trauma-informed background with the ability to provide trauma-informed therapies like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Sensorimotor work that aid in helping you or your loved one gain traction in getting past difficult times in the present and past, as well as helping to offer regulation skills to help clients feel more in empowered in managing their emotions.  I also have experience with CBT and DBT, which offer fantastic skills. For clients looking for experiential work, I offer sand tray, art therapies, and the ability to take therapy outside to work on hikes, walks, shooting hoops, playing paddleball, over coffee, or whatever feels most natural to you or your loved one.

It takes such bravery to step into the door of a therapist!  So proud of you for considering this journey.  It is such an honor to be invited into your world.  I think if you choose to step into counseling, you will look back and be amazed at who you become, but more importantly who you already are.
